Trusting God Brings Success

Trusting God Brings Success

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.  In all your ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. (Prov. 3:5-6 AMPC).

In order to be successful God's way, there is something we must do; we must let go of our way of thinking and trust God's way. Notice the word says that the scripture above is an if-then conditional statement. You don't get something for nothing. It does not just happens. You must do something. If you will trust God and move out of his way, he promises to take care of you, direct you and make your paths straight. Another translation says he makes your paths smooth.

Are you paths smooth right now? Do you want to see success in your life without all the frustrations you may or may not be having right now but you know they will soon be back because they come and go as you get wrapped up in your own way of thinking? Joshua 1:8 says, "  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

When does success comes? When you dwell on God's word and trust his word (which is also his way) versus your words and your ways. What is the result? The result is you will be successful. Everyone will be wondering how you are so successful and it will because you dared to trust God and his word.

Today, choose to trust God and move out of your own way so that he can drive you to a place of success that is far above where you can take yourself.

Pray this prayer: Father I choose today to trust you more than I trust myself. I commit to your word and I will obey and trust you with my life. I know you will lead me daily in the pathways of life that lead to a successful life ; a champion life.
