Restored to Harmony: Walking Daily in Oneness with God

For years, many have embraced the belief that God, in His sovereignty, simply does whatever He wants on earth without man's involvement. But this is a misunderstanding of both God's nature and His divine plan for humanity. From the beginning, God chose to work through man, not apart from him.

God’s Original Plan for Man

In Genesis, God created man in His image and gave him dominion over the earth (Genesis 1:26-28). This wasn’t symbolic—it was literal authority. Earth was man’s domain, and God, though sovereign, chose not to override that authority. He gave man legal stewardship, making man the governing agent in the natural realm.

This is why prayer is vital. Prayer is not just a spiritual exercise—it is man’s way of partnering with God to invite heaven’s will into earth’s reality. Jesus affirmed this when He taught us to pray, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

What Really Happened in the Fall

Satan understood what man had. When Adam fell, it wasn’t just about disobedience—it was about relinquishing authority. Satan became the “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4) not because God gave him that role, but because man handed it over through sin and disconnection from his God-given identity.

Sin, from the Greek word hamartia, means “to miss the mark” or more deeply, to lose one’s form, image, or identity. The real tragedy of sin wasn’t just the wrong act—it was man forgetting who he was.

Jesus: The Restorer of Identity and Authority

God’s answer was not simply to forgive acts of sin—it was to restore harmony between God and man. Jesus didn’t come just to get us to heaven. He came to restore the lost image and authority we once held. Romans 8:29 says we were predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son. Jesus restored our ability to walk as sons and kings—partners with God in the earth.

Through Christ, we’re not just forgiven; we’re reunited with the Father. Our identity is restored, and we’re called to walk in divine harmony once again. You are no longer a slave or a stranger. You are a son, a co-ruler, a joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). God has restored the bridge. Walk in confidence, knowing that heaven is waiting to partner with you to bring transformation to the earth.

Daily Confession

Today, I walk in harmony with my Heavenly Father. I am made in His image. I have been restored through Christ to rule and reign with Him. I refuse to live beneath my calling. I declare that I am one with God, empowered by His Spirit, and filled with His purpose. I exercise my authority and invite heaven into every area of my life. I live in oneness with the Father—today and every day.
